Ok, lets start again. The rules are spread throughout this thread, but thats the main one.

I think you're only allowed to add or take away one letter roland, not 7...

Yeah, if you start off with words like 'candidates' it's unlikely the round will last very long.

This is potentially a good game, but the rules are a mess!

Anagrams make it too easy, though.

I think you should be allowed to add, change, or remove one letter, and the aim of the game is not to "win", but to ensure you leave at least one word possible for whoever's following you. It can be as easy or as tough as you like, but no trying to ruin the game for everyone else in the name of "winning".

What about start with a 3 letter word.

You must add a letter but all letters can be re arranged to create the new word ubtil you can expand no more.
For example:

For
Roof
Proof

etc etc.

Its really simple tbh.

Add one letter, or take a letter away. No anagrams, no jumbling letters about. Add or take ONE letter.

When the word can no longer be changed either way, then you wait 24 hrs, and then the last person that has posted begins again with their new word.

Now, for the love of god, lets just play !!

Both Ozzy's and FS's ideas are good and interesting. I think the most fun in a game like this is keeping the chain going as long as possible. It also demands the most skill. So, from that, I'd go for FS's proposal. Add, take away or replace a letter.

Im losing the will to live go with add ONE letter / take ONE letter / change ONE letter...ok?
