 | A week has passed in East Germany and some great progress has been made both on and off the pitch.
On the pitch we’ve had some really good results. Sitting 5th currently with a 5-0-1 record and +9 GD. Our only loss coming to a strong human managed club (Tarator). We’ve also won both our league cup games. I certainly wasn’t expecting such a strong start.
This fantastic early form has helped to push the clubs rating up and with great timing we hit 3,503 a day before our initial staff recruiting adverts returned. Which was a really nice touch. Our hot streak continued as the applicants for the positions were largely to a good standard. The new crew have come in and pushed our avg staff from the reset 20 up to 34. Which from the very first 7 day ads we ran, I’m really happy with that.
The other big news is that the club have been informed by their respective agents that wonderkids Belamari & Henckler wish to leave the club. Reports in Das Bild suggest they’ve been tapped up by two or three European Giants. Sadly, we are forced to place them on the transfer list and we wish them well for the future.
The positive spin on this, is that there is a lot of hope at the club, that with the income from transfer fees, the new increased level of staffing and the continuing match form, it might be possible to push the club to the next level in the coming weeks. There is a lot of hope and positivity in Leathercushion these days.
