Yellow Card Craziness
Hi All,

Looking for some input or disagreement.

I was away against a team I should easily beat.

Character 15/100 (never really looked at this personally)
Strictness 20/100
Awareness 19/100
Matches 36
Yellow cards 225
Red cards 5
Penalties 8

I set at Agg 1 and no closing down.
Opponent goes Agg 10 with closing down. (complete opposite).

We win 4-0, with 89% possession 6 yellow cards (to 3), and I pick up a late injury too.

How can an Agg1 team get 6 yellows while on defense for 11% of the game!

Am I reading the ref reports completely wrong after all these years or is the Randomness of the game just confusing me?

Happy there were no Reds, and an easy win... but more trying to learn.

I did a post earlier this season on how i was averaging a red card every three games at the halfway stage of the season, since then I have had none. I look at the figures you show for bookings and your aggression and closing down and often I see the same in my games sometimes to my advantage and sometimes against. I play friendlies where both teams do no closing down and agg1 and still you can get masses of bookings. I honestly think now that closing down and aggression are just a random number with no meaning.
