Order of staff processes in update
Hi,

Does anybody know the order for hiring and staff leaving because of retirement in the evening update? Is hired staff processed before retirement?

Thanks

I really don't know Ryan.

But will it matter? If you have applicants for a role where current staff are retiring, just hang on and negotiate when the retiree leaves. The applicants stay viewable for a few days.

Or am I over simplifying things?

Maybe ryan's youth coach is retiring tonight and he's worried he'll lose his academy if the new one doesn't come in first?

It'll be interesting to find out what happens...

Well then, maybe it's his coach instead then and he's worried about his players not training. I don't know...

Moot point now as I'm sure you'll know the answer, but I've hired and fired in one update while at full capacity so I'd expect the retirements to behave similarly - though with IAG you never know.

Even if they don't accept right away, it just delays the hiring until the next update, provided you've made space by then.

Thanks everyone for the replies.

Basically, my youth coach was retiring that update and my new one was coming in. I thought, as soon as the youth coach goes, so does your youth players. Did not realise you have 10 days, which is good to know.

It was my own fault should have sorted it sooner, but all good in the end

Thanks again

Ah, so I was right the first time!

It may be worthwhile updating the help files, as there is no mention of having 10 days to get a new youth coach in if your old one retires. All the help files have to say on the matter seems to be this:
