League Super Cup?
Has nobody ever thought that maybe a new cup game could be introduced at the beginning of each season between the League Cup winner and the (1st division) League Title winner? I think it would be a pretty cool addition, adding a hint of realism and having a new game to look forward to at the start of every season.

There is not really enough time to do this. The Super Cup final is on Day 56 and the first League match of the new season is on Day 1. Would you hold it on Day 56? If so would you expect the teams in the Super Cup final to have to play twice in one day?

It is a lot of code changes to implement for the benefit of only 2 teams each season. And if you?re planning to hand out prize money for this, then you are suggesting making the richest teams even richer. If not, then what is the point of it?

An interesting idea but probably not very practical sadly.

If this was to be a thing id imagine it to be something like the community shield, a competition that doesnt really hand out prize money and is just a form of pre-season trophy.

There's nothing (other than being subscribers) to stop the two managers involved holding a friendly to battle this out.
