I noticed this last week too. It's also with noting though that their tier 1 league, rated 54, is quite a bit weaker than Brazil's (5
and Germany's (59). Also Nigeria, Scotland and England's tier 1 Leagues are more highly rated than Ireland's.
It will be interesting to see if the teams in tiers 2,3,4 of Ireland, who are on average rated above other country's, continue to improve over the next few seasons, promote to the top league, and create a higher rated and competitive Irish Premier Division too.
