I?ve looked on the help files but can?t see how to improve the form of my players it doesn?t seem to change much whatever I do

I don't think there's much you can do to influence it sadly. It seems to fluctuate almost at random.

I don't think it's random - your top striker is almost guaranteed to be stuck at 4 for at least half the season

I agree but it does seem to effect the player performance

Having the same problem with my starting keeper
Form at best this season has been 5
Lost a couple of games where opponents have had 3 or 4 shots and he has saved only 1
I was probably a season late getting a youth keeper up to speed so not quite ready to replace him just yet
