Sad news, especially after his concert the other week. Black Sabbath was a bit before my time and I always thought of him a bit like kids these days must think of Gary Lineker and Alan Shearer on MOTD - hard to imagine someone in their 50s (and a lot worse for wear) being at the cutting edge of music. Still, I listened to Black Sabbath (the album) today and you can just imagine how Black Sabbath (the song) must have amazed people when they heard it for the first time. I think it would give a time travelling Mozart a heart attack

Yes definitely very sad, I was brought up on his music along with priest and zeppelin from my older brothers.
He certainly lived his life to the full and didn?t die an ordinary man

I never really got heavy metal TBH, but he was a music icon up there with the best. RIP Ozzy, certainly lived life to the full in true rock n roll style
