European Finals
So, erm, anyone else going to Bilbao, or Wroclaw?

Trying not to think about how expensive this trip is just to watch us lose to Utd.

I don't think you'll lose... United have been awful against English teams this year. It's only the Europeans we can beat.

No, we definitely can't afford to go, sadly.

Well, that was fun

Sorry FS, terrible game and not really deserved win but I guess we've finally learnt how to win ugly.

Both teams were terrible, to be expected really, United slightly worse and practically no attacking presence. Amorim playing players out of position and picking players who have done nothing all season, the result was expected.

What a sparkling advert that was for the Premier League, such well behaved fans too. Bravo.

Not in the slightest bit surprised, to be honest. Congratulations TG.

I'm not sure if it's lost in translation or if because Amorim is an arrogant money getter?? But alot of the interviews I see with Amorim he says some very controversial things and it seems he doesn't care whatever the outcome, aslong as he gets a good payout

That'll teach Amorim for saying Spurs will never be a top club!! Does he know any history of English football??

I'm not sure what interviews you've been watching, Kane. Amorim seems pretty down to earth and honest about things, and has often mentioned that he isn't in it for the money. He also said that if he was sacked then he wouldn't take any compensation, so I'm not quite sure where you're getting the money grabbing thing from in the first place.

Amorim also personally paid for the families of backroom staff to attend the final after the club refused to pay. Don't quite think that is the actions of someone who is money grabbing.

Agree he might come across as negative at times but everyone can see that Man Utd is an absolute shambles at the minute so at least he is being honest about it instead of trying to sugar coat it like a lot of managers would do in his position to try and save their job.

Congrats TG. Feel your relief being a long suffering Newcastle fan finally getting the monkey off our back after 70 years without a domestic cup.

it's been a good year for cup "upsets" with Palace betting Man City as well.

Yes maybe I'm lost in translation then and read his body language wrong? But eitherway, Spurs have always been a big club and regular winners of trophys through the decades,, just because it was a purple patch of not winning something, that doesn't make Spurs "never have or will be a big club" like Amorim said lol
