It's been a while: Mafia / Blood on the Clocktower game
Anyone fancy a mafia style game?

I've been obsessed with a mafia-like game called Blood on the Clocktower for a few years now and have recently found out that people have come up with rulesets to allow it to be played on a forum instead of its usual in-person format.

It's mafia but you're not out of the game when you die, you get to continue playing. There are also lots of interesting roles and role interactions the way we always used to like our mafia games.

I'll go into more detail if we get enough sign ups to make it worthwhile but imagine it as being Mafia but jacked up to level 20.

Won't need to be anonymous for this, partly since you're not out by dying and partly because there are incentives for evil to keep certain roles alive.

I don't think there's enough active forumgoers for this any more, but if you find enough people and need an extra one to balance the game I'd be happy to help out.

After 12th June, I have a decent amount of free time.

Technically we could play this game with 5 players but the rules are a bit different, 7 would be better...

I?m also going to be away with absolutely minimal free time on the 23rd to the 25th this month, just so you?re aware. I will probably barely have time to check my team is set up let alone play mafia. Just remembered. Sorry.

How come? How long are you unavailable for? I could postpone a couple of days?

BlueBoar also said he would have more time after the 12th. He didn't say how busy he was beforehand. Please don't start the game early because I'm away for a couple of days. I will be able to post a bit in the morning of the 23rd, and on the evening of the 25th, it's just the 24th that I'll be extremely limited on. (I'm only getting this in early because silence can be such a suspicious thing in a mafia game.)

Life is pretty busy for me for the next couple of weeks, until the 20th. But you can swap Andy in for me and still have seven, so go ahead without me. Maybe next time

I don't understand... Is it a game like dungeons and dragons with a roll of the dice and many choices and outcomes? Or is it on a seperate app or website thing??
