Interesting Match Engine Quirk
I was going to post this in the bugs forum but i wouldnt call it a bug (yet), its just weird. Today in S73 Matchday 12, my Scottish team scored 2 goals in the same minute (92nd) to rescue a 2-2 draw (FT was at 92 minutes). When i first saw it today, i thought wow, id be annoyed if that was against me...

..and then i checked my 1st team in the US and saw they conceded 2 goals in the same minute (36). And then i checked my former Scottish team and they conceded 2 goals in the same minute (37)

Seeing it once is intriguing,
Seeing it twice is concerning,
Seeing it 3 times is worrying,
Seeing it 16 times across all 10 leagues is alarming.

I will point out that 6 of those 16 were goals scored by both teams in the same minute. Ive seen that before but ive never seen 10 games had duplicate goals scored in the same minute. Heres the list i gathered if anyones curious,

There is 50 leagues. Assuming your 16 is correct that gives it a 1 in every 31.25 games.

It could be higher tbh, i didnt check any of the 1-1 draws as it wasnt until i got to Nigeria did i see games with only goals scored by both teams in the same minute.

Its still a high number of games. i did also see atleast 2 games where there was 3 goals scored in 3 consecutive minutes and a few of 3 goals on 4 minutes.

I haven't done the maths on it, but it happening in 1 match out of 30 or so when there's about an average of 3 goals per game in IAG is probably within a standard deviation or two of the mean of the expected number of matches for it occur in, if you're assuming a normal distribution and that goals are scored entirely at random within the 90 minute period. It's out of the ordinary, but nowhere near impossible or even improbable.

That's some dedication to the cause though, looking through nearly 500 games looking for examples of this
