Can somebody give me advice on a good schedule for training, I want to get my players stats up I just don?t know how much training is too much and how much is too less.

Take a look at the SQUAD tab under HELP. It gives advice about what the different options you can find under Squad/Training. It's up to you to decide how hard to train your players, but if you overdo it, they can get a lot more prone to injury. I usually take mine to just short of 20% fatigue: others will have different views on this.

I personally don?t allow pre-match fatigue to go above 5% and preferably keep it between 0 and 3. This means your regular players will have to spend most of their time on low intensity training, but most of them will probablybe fully trained anyway if they are in your first team.

For another point of view - I have no problem taking some of my players' fatigue up much higher and I haven't ever noticed greater injury rates between those with high fatigue and those with less. I wouldn't tend to play very fatigued players in competitive games though.

The help files are a good start but from memory they don't tell you everything that is trained in a routine, and sometimes tell you things are trained that aren't. The best way to find out is just to do it and make notes.

Remember that your coaches have a limit to how far they can train your players in each attribute - this will depend on how good the coaches are and how much potential each player has. Being a new manager you probably won't have the best coaches you can get, even at your low level. That's worth looking at.

As a subscriber I can create multiple schedules but really I just use one baseline one to keep most of my squad ticking over and then all other training is updated manually. You could do this with your free account.

I will typically at the end of the season, start most players off with medium or high intensity training for those that are trainable. Otherwise, they are low intensity. I will occasionally leave these intensities on for players that train well.

For new players with low rating, unless you intend to use them in a competitive match, select from the specific roles to train them in. I normally do stamina, weights, sprints to start as this gives you an idea quickly, where they will max out (to determine how good they are!).

For high intensity, rest players often. Medium intensity less often, Low intensity rest as needed, but always allow more rest for older players.

There probably more you can say about training but I don't use the schedules personally.

At Dessert FC, rest is a mythical occurrence that is said to be granted to players only once, after they have completed two weeks of high intensity closing down
