Tax
If you make for example 10m profit at the end of the season.
How much money do you lose on tax?

5,000,001 to 10,000,000 - 20% tax

10,000,001 and upwards - 40% tax

So 10M profit equals 1.3M tax

That's the league prize money which comes in at the end of the final day of the season

No. Board expenses and credits only happen when the team is reset.

Anyway, why would the board be paying you money?

To expand on this - when a club is reset (usually when a manager quits) the bank balance/club value is adjusted in line with the other clubs in the division. This is recorded as Board income or Board Expenses.

In a sense, you are the board in so far as you decide how much of your bank balance you spend and the levels of wages you pay.

You get prize money whatever round of the cups you go out of, obviously it's more the further you go but it's not enormous amounts even if you win it - I only got 2.1M for winning the league cup this season. Then you get the 2M+ from the league.

Matchday income is much more important (and reducing expenses).

Yes, but only marginally. Each position is only worth something like 50k credits, possibly less.

quick question about tax.
so if i have 15m profits for this season, is the tax placed on the total profits at 40% or does it break down.
so it would be 10% on the first 5m = 500k
20% on the 5m - 10m = 1m
and 40%, 10m - 15m = 2m totalling 3.5m or is it as i said at the start 40% on total profits which would be 6m.

Neither of those but your first one is closer.

0% on the first 2M
10% on the next 3M = 300k
20% on the next 5M = 1M
40% on the rest = 2M

3.3M

thanks for clearing that up, you never know how game mechanics might work an all, so thought i'd ask before i dumped credits into unnecessary ground capacity improvments.
