You've literally had 2 red cards in 37 matches this season. Come on.
You can easily manage your yellow-card suspensions by trying to get the players "

n a yellow" booked the match before a game against a weaker opponent, so they take their suspension for a match you don't need them for anyway. Yellow cards were made to occur more frequently in the early seasons of this version of the game and yes it's frustrating but it's entirely manageable.

I fully agree with you. Further to my previous post, the match has ended and had another player yellow carded, and the irony is that I played the whole match with a player less and please don't laugh...I won 4-0 !!!!!!
I love this game, but certain feature annoys me. For instance 1 in a million I win against teams superior than mine in the ranking, but on the other hand I lose quite often against teams inferior than mine.
As regards the distribution of the cards, and even injuries, I think the system is programmed as it is so every manager has to utilize all of the players in his squad.
It's entirely normal for red cards not to affect the result of one-sided matches. It tends to have a larger effect in close games.
If you're losing matches that you shouldn't be losing on a regular basis, maybe there's a good reason for it. Perhaps your players are starting the match too fatigued from training, or maybe your tactics are a bit off. Yes, sometimes the game just throws bad luck at you, but we all have it happen from time to time. That's just football.
If you could just play your first XI every single match of the whole season then you're not exactly managing your club, are you? Squad management is a key attribute of a successful manager.
