This thread is for nominations and voting ONLY. No general game discussions here. I will lock this thread when nominations and votes are not open.

To nominate you post in this thread saying, in bold text, "I nominate [player name]"

As soon as a nomination has been made, voting can start. Nominations can run in parallel BUT there will always be time given for the 2nd nomination to finish after the first has finished since the number of votes needed for subsequent nominations to pass depends partly on how many the previous nomination(s) got.

Vote by posting: 'My hand is up for the nomination on [player name]' or 'My hand is down for the nomination of [player name]'

I will count the vote as it becomes each person's turn to vote. The person clockwise of the nominated player is the first vote and the vote goes clockwise until it gets all the way round to the nominee who's vote is taken last.

Day 1 nominations are open!

Would you like to make a case as to why?

My reasoning being the statements of questioning why I went public with my role, and then wondering why others have not. It feels wrong, like someone seeking information without a real offering of anything or the role he has within the game.

It isn't an exact science unfortunately, and aprt from others who have yet to appear, Euro has become sketchy for me.

Euro, would you like to make a defence?

Sure, I have never played in a game where whispers have been allowed.

The general consensus seems to be that sharing information early is good, and I can see the arguments as to why.

I simply asked the question why someone would (or should) share information privately rather than publicly. So far we have had both, in the form of AndyP (private) and HanSo7o (publicly).

Once a nomination is made you can raise your hand (i.e. vote) by posting in the Nominations/voting thread. You simply post 'My hand is up for the nomination on [player name]' to raise your hand and 'My hand is down for the nomination of [player name]' to lower your hand. As soon as the player to the left of the nominee has announced their hand as up or down, I'll take the current status of the next voter (or if they haven't posted a status then I'll wait for them to do so), then the next and the next and so on.

You can therefore change your vote multiple times before it becomes your turn, and I'll take it as whatever you've voted at the point it becomes your turn. You are, of course, allowed to keep talking in the main thread and post your intention to vote or not there if you wish but only what's in the voting thread matters.

As Euro is #10, this means #1 votes first? and I vote last

My vote (#9) is no (to speed things up, but I may change it if I see a compelling reason before 8 votes)

I guess we skip #4 as they will join the game later?
So 8 voters, so if we get to 4 Euro #10 will be executed? or is 5 required as Euro counts as a vote?

Please check the post above yours on how to vote. You need to either vote specifically for or against THIS nomination. More general comments should be in the game thread.
