Wingbacks seem to have a higher value than fullbacks.
Left-footed/ both-footed players seem to have a higher value than right-footed players
Certain positions seem to have have a higher value than others in their DEF/MID/FW positions.
If you look at your country's "statistics" - "player value" the top players are usually both-footed / left-footed and HPL / SWP / CRM / PMK / AM / DM / WB
Just a quick look at Scotland's, there's a 73-rated player at #6 just because he's a both-footed CRM. I have over 25 players rated higher than him and other teams in the league have a few too.
It's just a weird thing in this game.
