Is it possible?
I opened the penultimate stadium expansion on Monday and the final one is half way through building. We got a nice little club rating boost in yesterday's update from it, and the final corner will take us to about 7220. There's 80 points left on the table through league position, which just needs a favourable set of fixtures early in the season at some point, and that would take us up to 7300.

Where on earth do I get the last 200 points from?

We all know club rating points comes from league position, club value, stadium size, average player and average staff rating, and results. Well, I've maxed out club value and stadium, I can pick up a maximum of those 80 points from league position, I can't improve the staff further without actually getting to 7501, and my squad rating is at 82 and has been stuck there for ages. I could maybe get 83 or 84, but only at the cost of selling my next generation of top quality youth players, and even that wouldn't be enough to get that 200 points I need.

So does it literally just come down to results? I've had some deep cup runs recently and they haven't been enough to push the club rating significantly. I've been consistently hitting 80 points per season in the League. Do I literally need to have a perfect 3 or 4 seasons in a row to break this rating barrier?

Am I missing anything? Because I'm looking at the future of the club and we're going nowhere without the next level of staff or an implosion from the teams above us in the league table.

Any advice or suggestions welcome.

I am in a similar boat and been asking myself all those questions albeit you are a little coser than I.

I don't think we are missing anything I think it's very long unbeaten runs clubs go on which increase and sustain the rating.

Obviously its slightly different parameters within different leagues but when Vitorul Dersca did it, they were in the top 3 of the league and didn't have any low rated youth players in the midst of being trained up.... NotSoSpecialOne did the 7501 in Germany quite recently also without purposefully relegating himself this time, and did that at a very quick speed by selling some of his young 90s fixed attribute players and replacing them with already trained up +90s, some of which were golden oldies

I know this because I missed out on a few golden oldies I was trying to purchase when I was quite new to the game, some by just a slither of a margin,,,,, I'll get my revenge soon NSSO mark my words muhahaha
