Looks like it, he was too stubborn for his own good.

Change formation to a solid 451 without the ball, 433 with the ball, give a couple of young kids the chance to shine (1 scored the winner) and gave another youngster experience of being around the 1st team on a matchday.

All good so far but it's only 1 game and rumours are we have the joker Michael Appleton to look forward to............NOT!!!.

Get on the phone to Moyes, he's been kicking around since November.

Appleton!

Would love Moysey, last time I met him I nearly broke his foot.

By all accounts, Pearson might be interested but I don't think he will like not being in charge of transfers.

We have the old Oxford CEO now and his best mate is Appleton....if it happens.........we're down.

Brighton 2-1 Huddersfield

Very pleased tonight. Not a classic but we dug in and ground out the win against a decent Hudds team. Great to see Lualua get a few more minutes following his injury, he seemed pretty sharp too. Knockaert is a fantastic signing, we are lucky to have him.

Things are (once again) looking up.

.....oh and we've got to the magical 50 points. We are staying up!

I see John Pemberton is 1/3 in the betting. That must be a bit underwhelming.

That's good. Now we can think about promotion....
Nice to see BZ getting more time on the field and finding the back of the net again.
And to see us getting more than one goal in a game!

Hopefully we don't drop any more points now and win our game in hand and let Hull and Burnley fight it out for 2nd spot

Going to the Brighton v Brentford match tonight, really looking forward to it. We'll probably lose.

Interesting stats - 35% possession - three goals.
That's the way to do it!
