| I reckon reading TG's intros all tyhe time as the game progresses will be a must.
I'm going to print them all out to have them in front of me.

I know a little, and what I do know isn't enabling me to divulge anything of interest until something happens.
It seems, some will know something at the start, and others will know or be able to discover things during the night. So, we need a night of something, and results to discuss after that.
All I will give away, is there is a Drunk. Now, it could be me, or at least two others.... or perhaps more. To prove this, I have to wait....
Discuss this if that helps..
In your first post, you referred to seats 3 Berrystraw & 7 Pleasantsurprise. Are these the (at least) two others you refer to or am I misunderstanding you?
Also, in reference to being drunk yourself, you may be right to mistrust the information you have been given? but...
I'm not asking you to divulge exactly what you were expecting, but I do suggest you read your role closely for clues and also read the character role of the outsider you were given, as that may help.

1) You are correct....
2) I trust nothing... a Drunk would still be given information. Would be fun to make the drunk think he knows of another Drunk... so it is possible I know nothing.
3) Feel free to divulge anything you believe I may have missed... I don't feel I have anything more to give.

| I've got a piece of information that I can share but no idea who to share it with!
I've whispered for Firesilver to discuss as he has definitely played the game before. So far no whisper accepted yet. I'll wait...

Interestin why you think the info you have is only shareable with someone who has played before?
|
| I?m at work and will post my thoughts fully when I get home (and reply to AndyP), but thank goodness someone has finally claimed a role! And an important one, too.
Now that you?ve claimed, it?s essential you tell us who the two potential drunks are. The drunk can do a lot of unintended damage to the town if they don?t know there?s a good chance they?re drunk.
Either of the two names you were given, or yourself, could then be the drunk. This also has the added benefit of other townsfolk being more confident in their information (although they could of course still be poisoned).

It depends on the information, of course. He may have information on me that makes him trust me. Remember that some roles are given two names, and only one of them is accurate. He may have been given info on both me and JustSuper. I?ll see what I can do to help and advise.
Of course, he could also be the minion wanting to whisper to his boss.

3) It's fine. I wasn't asking a question. Just more making sure you had full understanding of the information you have and what it means.
Referring back to the same post, I meant to ask you when you said "wait to prove the information?" Are you concerned it is you that is drunk, or one of (or both) the other two?
In my opinion, only one of you, pleasantsurprise or berrystraw would be drunk if that were the case, but knowing the way TG2 operates, we can't rule out more than one I guess.

| Sorry not much from me so far, busy day at work!
Need to catch up properly on all the posts so far, but just a quick questions for TG (or anyone), when does this day phase end? (Can't seem to see any reference to this)

It's not stated because it's not an exact science. It depends how many nominations there are and how long it takes to get the votes in on them.
In future days I'll probably specify when nominations will open but for day 1 I left that vague too so I could see how long it takes for people to have whispers etc.

Thanks for clarifying | |

| So, if either pleasantsurprise, HanSo7o or myself is the drunk, which for now I'm willing to believe, albeit only because this is the only hard information we have right now, this can probably be tested somehow.
I don't see how I could try such a test given my own role, however, and if HanSo7o is indeed the librarian, he cannot do it himself either. Could you figure something out, pleasant?
Also, I'm pretty curious what information Andy will bring into the game. I suspect Firesilver will bring forward a cunning plan based on that piece of information, if it's possible. So, I'm looking forward to that one, too.

I am struggling to understand how or why you would openly offer this so quickly (if true)

| Quote: Originally posted by HanSo7o No, for not wanting to be vague or mislead in any way... I am claiming the Librarian.
There is nothing anyone can say to know anything different about my claim, unless I am the Drunk and my info isn't right (as I believe).
As for Berrystraw not understanding my claim there IS a drunk - hopefully that clears things up, and our chat wasn't too vague to work things out.
Yes, I'm claiming Town, yes I'm a target. However, no benefit to killing me is gained because my info is out there. Does this help anyone at all...?
And then why you would so quickly reveal your role. Just trying to understand how/why this helps the town

Can you please explain why you feel the need to share immediately rather than wait and see who you think you can trust?
And then why the person you landed on is FS?

The bit in bold is exactly how I am reading it... more than one at this point, could be outragiously difficult to unravel.
|
| OK I have gone through everything - a few moving parts here and I think I am still getting my head around the game itself.
A fair bit of whispering going on pretty early - something else I am trying to figure out on what benefit there is for doing this so early....

He seems to back up his claim with his opening post.
Whilst it is possible that the demon could have Librarian as one of his bluffs, we can't disprove his claim. The fact that he has provided information that is all he will get all game, is good and gives us a discussion point to work on. For now, I have no reason to doubt him.

I see the connection - my question is why offer so early in the game (and by early I mean so early in the first day phase).
|
| From my understanding the Librarian isn't worth killing (by the Demon) as the no more information is received by them. So it is either a reasonable plan or bluff to stay alive.
At least that is how I read it.
