Becoming more and more frustrated with the game, been trying to get to 6501 and not getting close! Gained promotion to Serie A again so know i will lose at least half of the matches therefore making the rating improvement even more difficult.
Tried to cash in and improve my squad, offered way over the odds for 5 players that finished last night, i am offering terms to just 1 of them. Needed those to boost my average player rating and will now lose a load of money in tax at end of the season!

2 steps forward, 3 steps back!

Won't say I had a good or bad season.
Been unavailable for a year+ now. Applied for the Surbiton Legion role and got employed before matchday 34. Saw out only one win, one draw and lost three. Narrowly escaped relegation with a 17th place finish. All the cup games were all past tense before I joined the fold.
Gonna try bring in a few players to compete inside the top 10 next season.

We reached 7501 this season. I thought I had timed it perfectly for 7 day applications to come back once I got it, but selling 2 players in one day dropped my club value below 100m on the one day that mattered, so I ended up with 7 days of 6501 staff applicants

Nevermind, once the bank balance came in the next day, it put our rating back up above 7500. So, after 3 and a half years as manager of the Ducks, today I have got this club staff from the 7500 bracket which was unexpected but fantastic.

The most important thing next season is starting strong and being in the top 4ish of the league so that we can get 7 days of 7501 staff applicants and then we can kick on and start actually challenging for trophies.

We were so poor in the league this season, beating none of the clubs around us. Getting to 7501 for the very first time when you're 6th in the league takes some doing...

We did well in the cups though, which I imagine has played a huge factor in our club rating; we lost on penalties in the final of the Platinum Shield to Blind Monkeys (you couldn't let us have one, Glosterra?), and went out in the semis of the Brazilian Cup and the last 16 of the Super Cup.

The next goal will be to win a trophy, whatever that may be.

Been on and off here recently, and last season was a total washout as I paid very little attention to it. However this season...third in the league, final of the league cup, semi final of the inter cup, and final of the super cup tomorrow. No silverware so far and with my midfield obliterated by suspensions and injuries I'm not hopeful for anything, but you never know.

Still not giving this the full attention I did before I reached 7501 but next season, maybe we can aim for the top 10? A league title would be quite nice too.
