Sadly

A very sensible reason to support anyone

So Elmohamady announced as joining Villa today, honestly as a casual observer of his career this signing doesn't impress me much. What do fans of clubs he's played for think? PS, Ozzy I'm looking at you two

Yet another experienced player leaves City. At this rate it'll be like the start of last season all over again.

He was good for us at first but struggled lately, particularly this last season in the Premiership.

Steve Bruce obviously likes him but a lot will depend on where he's played.

Steve and his favourite soft toy.

Wins lots of headers from goal kicks and then 90% of the time puts the ball out of play or gives it to the opposition.

Has moments but in my opinion they're very few and far between. I was more dissapointed when Myley left for Hull that Elmo

Christ.

We won't be able to field a team at this rate...

Mind you, at least we've got Fraizer Campbell back.

We're in as bad a position i reckon. I'd be happy with mid table the way things are going

Half our regular first teamers have gone.

Mid-table will be a great result for us.

We'll battle it out for 11th and 12th shall we?

Ozzy and PS you'll probably both think me a spoilt whining baby if I say I'm worried Villa could be scrabbling around in the lower mid table this season again. I don't suppose you'd let me get in on that bet?
Two pints for the highest finisher?

C'mon the canaries!

A huge transitional period for us, getting rid of 10+ senior players on contracts over 25k a week and replacing with freebies and German 2nd div players. However that's exactly what our new Sporting director did at Huddersfield last season... so if he repeats that then I'll be extremely happy

Championship is really going to splinter this season. You have the teams throwing money at it, i.e. those with parachute payments and those gambling. Then you have those trying to cut their cloth accordingly.

QPR have gambled twice, won the lotto twice, then chucked it all away, and some.

We will do well to avoid a relegation dog fight I fear.

I think our parachute payments are going straight into the Allams' pockets.

It's going to be an insane league this year, you could make a case for about 16 of the 24 to expect to be in the top 6.

Whoever comes out on top this time will have deserved it!

No chance with Monk in charge

Feeling positive about Leeds' chances, not that I'll be able to make it to a lot of games considering the ridiculous price they charge 17 year olds to watch football
