What sort of staff ratings can you expect from adverts once you break the 6501 mark?

Should be the 55-60 range based on my experience

Well I didn't want to tempt fate but now the deal has gone through I can say something. After my youth sale and once my club value corrects itself at the next update I should be back in the 6501+ club, even with the purchase I'll hope to be making tomorrow too. I'm actually a bit surprised and annoyed with myself that it's going to be so close-cut but I should just do it. Also I don't have any really old high rated players so my player rating should only be going one way.

The question now is how one gets an APR over 80 without buying a load of pre-trained castoffs from the big clubs. Answers on a postcard please.

Which rating is needed from a coach to get players to 90 rating? I guess 60+?

My 6501 level coaches have managed to get my best youth academy players up to 89, 88 and 87 overall rating. You could possibly get them to 90 with a 60-rated coach, but it would take a great quality youth. 7501 level coaches would definitely get them to the low 90s.
