Thanks, it's taken years of work to get to this point! I've only got 1 left of the current crop close to promoting then it'll be a couple of seasons to wait for the next lot.

Reuben Schaefer - now that is what a 100-rated youth should look like

I received a message recently about one of my youths starting to show signs of improvement but still a long way to go, he is 17 and rated mid 80s, seems a strange message to receive.

The "started to show some quality" message? Yeah, Tahnya got that for me when he was 17 and rated 92 - ended up being a 100-rated youth and a pretty good promotion. Your guy will probably turn out alright then

Well Garon turned out a disappointment as he was a perfectly balanced 95 youth

That is a bit disappointing tell you what, give me a good price for Schaefer and I'll take him off your hands

it can be a bit of a mystery, I had a 100 rated youth turn out slightly worse than a 94 rated one.

Goddard promoted today, 94 in the academy and all 90+ now.

Very pleased.

Two youths aging out very soon - first, a 99-rated GK who I have high hopes for, then a mid-80s midfielder who I'm hoping might just get to the 90s in the next couple of weeks. That would be my second and third promotions this season and coming so close together I'm nervous the midfielder might not promote.

After that there's another 17 year old 82-rated striker but he is a bit unbalanced so I'm less confident with him reaching 90s, which is a shame as I do need another top quality forward.

And my scouts are just bringing back rubbish...

The love child of Dungas wife and Patrick Vieira from 2009 has joined the senior squad today, "Erick Vieira" has high expectations on him from everyone at the club and I'm certain he will have a long and successful career here at the Dynamos

Choo Choo!

What are peoples thoughts on well balanced young players who don't improve fast.

I have 10 days left on a 15 year old rated 14/15/16
This ominous review has me leaning toward ditching him:
"After supervising his training, our youth coaches report that Geoff Overbury is proving to be hard to assess. If you keep him in the academy, he might get better, but I really do not know at the moment."

I've also got a 14 year old at 7/7/7 (as I wanted to test a 5/5/5 youth) - I have extended him once I think but now I'm thinking I am wasting a spot. 40 days left to decide so less urgent to decide.

I heard positive Karma affects future youth promotions and growth....
