Shhh!! Don't jinx it!
Anyway - he can't be perfect. He's Welsh.

My third one hit 100 two days ago. Just deciding whether to promote early or wait until his 18th birthday later this season

| Sharaf is my highest rated player and was 98/96/97, Baertschi is second and was all 100s. Cunningham was 91/91/100 and is third.
So whether the exact youth rating makes all that much difference, I don't know.

And he turned out OK, with lowest FA 91, but like many other managers have found, not quite as good as had been hoped. Still better than rejection, or an 80 FA, though.
A month ago he was rated 80 in the academy so I'm glad I stuck with him until his 18th birthday (which is tomorrow)

| Just signed up a 13 year old balanced 33 rated attacking midfielder...I liked his name.

| Would I be right in thinking that once the highest of the three attributes hits 100, the other lower two stop improving, or can they still improve if left in the academy?
Thanks. | |

I remember reading that this is the case yes, hence its best to have them as balanced as possible when choosing

| My understanding is that once an individual attribute reaches 100, the youth can no longer improve further in the academy in the remaining two, bearing in mind of course that 100/99/99 could mean 99.6/99.4/99.4 (thereby making 100/99.8/99.8 possible which would then show as 100/100/100). | |

| Quote: Originally posted by ElGanador I've never posted in here before, mainly because I've had nothing to get excited about. But over the last five or six weeks, I've had a youth player (was 14, now 15) move from 32,32,32 to 71,71,71.
He's been in the academy since he was 12, and I'm scared stiff of losing him!
Is there any correlation between ratings and acceptance? I'm working on the assumption that if he stays until he's 18 he will go higher in ratings, though at his current rate of growth, he'll hit 99 across the board before he's 17.
Five days later, and he's moved up to 76, 76, 76. I'm getting nervous!

I had a 16-year-old (came in at 13 or 14) who rocketed up to 100/100/100 recently, and was a bit apprehensive when promoting him to the full squad, but he made it. Good luck with yours!

| Eliezer Borba, centre back accepted promotion today and looks good, better than expected.
Could be a nice earner for the club as we need the dosh.
