Not bad at all!
I have three youths that are coming up for promotion this season/early next:
-Schroeder (STK): 79/85/81: 29 days until he reaches 18, "started to show some quality" at his renewal assessment yesterday. Could really do with another quality forward so come on please Sebastian
-Tendulkar (SWP): 61/69/70: 39 days until his 18th, "potential to improve a lot" at today's renewal. Extremely unlikely to be a superstar so maybe I will have to buy a top centre back after I sell...
-Dejagah (WBK): 95/94/99: just about to turn 17, also "started to show quality". Question is whether I promote now and get a headstart on training, or hold on and hope that extra rating point comes along soon. I would love to keep him but maybe having a third top quality wingback is a luxury when I could sell and buy a centre back...all ifs and buts until he promotes of course, he could still disappoint

One done, two to go - Dejagah maxed out the other day and has popped out looking rather good
Now for Schroeder and Tendulkar to step up

| Up to a full house again, got some really interesting youths but all with a long way to go. I had one youth improve by 10 points today, not seen that before. | |

I've spent weeks waiting for a decent youth to present himself for promotion to the Aurum Lapis academy. Rico Pena turned up today - 13 years old and rated 68/68/68. Promising prospect!

Schroeder is up to 88/94/89 with one more possible improvement. Everything crossed!
Tendulkar however hasn't long to go either and is stubbornly not moving

| I currently have 3 youths in the 70's, two are 14 and one is 12, I expect them to reach good levels, the rest we shall see, pretty varied from 5 to 60. | |
|
| It's not often that you scout a 14 year old rated 93, so I had to promote Uchechukwu a little earlier than desired. He turned out OK for a 82-rated slightly unbalanced youth. | |
|
| Not much happening in my YA, although I do now have a 14 Yr old rated 81. | |
|
| Added an eleven-year-old kid to our academy this week, rated 10.
On his first day of training, he improved his rating to 20. Looks promising.

Long way to go, but as one attribute is now 21 and others 20/20, while he still looks promising, it's unlikely he'll reach 100.
On the other hand, very few of my 100-rated youths have stayed in my squad for long.

This youth has now reached a rating of 30 after two more updates where he increased by 5 points each time.
What's a bit strange though is that he increased after the first day in my academy, which was "55 days remaining", so I expected his next increase (if any) to be on "48 days remaining" but he actually improved with "49 days remaining" and then again on "42 days remaining."
While I don't check youths every day, I did notice this. Maybe I got lucky with him improving 10 points on the day I signed him. Is it possible that he improved while still in my "youth reports" list but it didn't show up, then on promotion for some reason the increase was added again?
I don't know, but it's an interesting anomaly.

Youths can age while in your reports can't they? I seem to remember something about getting phantom promotions if a 17 year old you scout turns 18 while on the recruitment page. Maybe they can improve too, and that links to the transfer list bug where (I think) you see the player's rating on listing day, not their current rating. So maybe they do improve but you don't see it until you do something with them.
I'd guess most people reject/promote youths as soon as they see them and I know I don't pay much attention to them until they're in my academy.

| My first ever 100 rated youth Jung Ra just promoted. Quite happy with him, however there are lower rated youths with better stats. Must be some random thing. | |

Congrats, he's still worth around the 40mil mark, maybe more... Or he will certainly be trainable above 80 if you have the 6501 staff

| What's everyones maximum amount of youngsters successfully promoted in 1 season?
I've promoted 4 already this season and will be maybe promoting more before the season ends.
Only one of the four I've promoted already is gonna be a first team regular and I got him out the way first lol but I've got a couple more ready soon which could possibly be important squad players
|

Ask me at the end of next season - I have seven players turning 18 then
|
| I've tried to avoid promoting more than 3 or 4 in a season in the past, but with the expansion of the academy, I think we'll all be forced to risk more than that from now on. A pleasant conundrum, though- I'd rather have 4 youths accept and 1 leave than 3 youths accept and not have room in the academy for more | |
|
| On a side note, I rejected a 14 year old 'keeper rated 73 today for being too unbalanced- he would have only been able to get to a maximum of low 80s in the academy. I almost can't believe I'm turning down 73 rated youths... | |
