Sure! He came in aged 17, I promoted him with still 27 days left. Also joined the youths with an impressive 95 rating!

Have you promoted any other youths in the last season or 2?

Physical : 32 mental : 92 technical 96

Ovr : 73

Jumped from a 64 to 73 rating overnight though,

now I am curious if I have found a player with a weak
physical attribute that will catch up?

however he's 17 so can turn 18 any update.

but thats the biggest improvement jump I ever seen over 1 update

yeah I guess, but if he has a 73 rating with a low physical stat, I'm curious what his FA will be and also if he will even reach 50+/60+ ?

They usually reach their average youth rating +/- few points even if one rating was super low

Scouted a player aged 14 about 3 weeks ago. He looked pretty good and was 70-rated. Currently he's 93-rated!

It looks like 1 of my scouts knows what they are doing!

I just had another leave my club. Have promoted 3 so far this season. One joined, the other two walked away. As you would guess it was the lowest rated who joined, the two potential stars walked away!

He started out at 71 physical, 70 mental, 68 technical so 70 overall and is now 95, 93, 91 so 93 overall.

It seems like he'll be as fully trained as he can be when he's 16 so it looks like the question will be: when do I promote him? At the moment, I'd be inclined to wait until he's late 17 or 18.

The only player I've tried to promote since the youth changes left the club so it'll be interesting to see what happens to some of my other youths before I try to promote the Turkish Messi.

Sure but would keeping him for longer counteract that somewhat? It would probably be pretty silly if I didn't try to promote players just to give another of my players a better chance to promote. Unless, of course, they're rubbish youths but if they were rubbish then they wouldn't be in my academy as I'd have got rid of them.

The last time I tried to promote someone it didn't succeed and I think that there was at least a season between then and my previous promotion attempt so it'll always be a case of you win some, you lose some.
