that sucks bro, maybe lower the standards. I didn't find anything on my squad either, but some minor improvements, I still think lower rated players still have some value for now, I hope mine improve.

I have seven scouts and send them out turn and turn about.
Probably find 2 or 3 decent youths a season, you just have to be patient and keep trying.

Scouts came back and found me a 17yo 71 rated midfielder and a 15yo 65 rated midfielder, youth academy looking good

well he reached an 86 rating a while ago but could still turn 18, lets hope he reaches 90+ before he does, who knows maybe he will train on the update he turns 18 and I will be un-aware

also my 70 rated striker improved to 81 still 16

My way of playing the game has been to use the academy for all players. I have just had to buy a player for the first time in 14 seasons.

Is that due to my lack of focus over the last few weeks, or the changes I don't know. I am looking to buy another just to avoid the sack in the next week or two due to retirement etc...

The change seems to have returned younger players who have to stay in the academy longer.

My side project of seeing how rich I can make the club with take a hit for now.

depending on his age, how he's improving, keep him longer, without promoting any players in between, will increase your odds. but I doupt he will be worth 60M nobody has ever been worth 60m, and defiantly won't be anyone worth 60m now the supply is greater.

Hes currently 16 turned on game 60 to day 1 so i know when he will auto

Hes gone up from 67 to high 80s and all stats are within 2pts of each other

How can I remove a player from the youth academy without promoting him?

The only other way is to let his contract run out.

I have a youth thats 14yrs old and now rated 98

What's the betting he is too good and will go on to flip burgers when I try to promote him at 17yrs old

the player I mentioned before on my 2nd team has reached an 89 rating still hasn't turned 18,

looks like he might reach 90+ but its not long until he turns 18, as has 17 days on his contract and i took him on as a 17 year old, improved from 82 rating, I'd have been happy with 86+ in such a little time, finally found a decent youth for my 1st team though, 77 rated fullback only 16 so has atleast 1 hole season to improve.

91 rated still waiting him to turn 18 lol, but I guess its good he improved by 9 ratings, if he promotes.
