This is something we have seen before, the youth will most likely have turned 18 at the update and walked away. You should have received a message, but unfortunately this does not work as it should.

tried to promote 3 players. 85 fullball & 69 HPL left but gained a 75 GK
and replaced them with 91 94 and 76 rated players, so I lost some but replacements was better.

One of the two midfielders I mentioned before, turned 16 & is now in my first team. The other is still 15 & will be in the academy for another season now. I have a player now 84 rated & others pushing in that direction, with 2 over 70 & 3 over 60. 2 of these players are only 14, so it'll be a while before they become useful.

I managed to sign a good midfielder for 4.3m. He's 34, but signed a 3 year deal & I may even get a bit more time out of him with luck. He is improving in training too, which is rare for players his age. I feel I was quite lucky to get him... I had to wait 2 days after transfers closed, so I suspect there was a higher bidder in the mix, who changed his/her mind. Their loss is my gain I guess.

All FA are 80+ but kinda dissapoibted that none are 90*

All of them currently 15yo.

It seems to be hard too get youths that promote with all 90s, even if they look vg in the academy.

So far I've offered a contract to 1 player and he accepted... not complaining about the academy yet

and those will turn out into 80's 90's too I should think, we will find out in 2-3 seasons.

I would be very pleased if they do keep progressing and at least reach 80s but the majority of them haven't really improved recently. I aim to promote them all when their contracts are down to 2-3 days left and they're 17yo. So 2 seasons for them to improve so I'll have to be patient

Was only in the academy for 4 weeks though so not really surprised

av got 93 rated df. not sure how this will turn out. still 17 with 30 days training. am still learning the game so hoping to luck.

Ah, that would have been nice if he'd promoted. Out of interest, how long did he have left on his contract as he turned 18?

I have a 71 rated 16 year old midfielder in the academy with 18 days left. He has been in for 2 seasons, fingers crossed he accepts in a couple of weeks?

Just picked up a 15 year old 95 rated winger 94,95,96 so hopefully will do better with this one.
