Nobody Gabric, promoted today.


Had him in the academy since he was 11, turned 17 a couple of days ago. A couple of seasons ago I was wondering if he was worth keeping in.......oh boy, he was!

Well he managed to get to 94/94/94, I was expecting him to get to 100 after all that, but I got a message saying he could improve no more. Let's see how he turns out, hopefully.

He could still turn out very well for you, I reckon.

So i miss out on a 30 rated 11yo ST in the scout because the 29 rated 13yo contract doesnt run out for 6 days.

tbh i didnt see him initially. i took the 57 rated 13yo first and thought i still had space. oh well

I have a 16 year old youth player rated 100! Do I promote them or renewal their contract to guarantee their promotion?

Unless you're desperate to get them into the squad or to sell them for cash then I'd wait. The longer you wait the better the chance they won't walk away.

Promotion acceptance is an art, but the only thing people can point to with real statistical accuracy is the longer a player is in the academy, the higher the chance of promotion.

I have a little issue - the player has 16 days left on their contract and has just turned 17. Do I promote with a couple of days left or still renew? If I renew do I promote before 18 birthday?

I think I recruited them at 14 so they have been in the academy 2 - 3 seasons.
