Sorry just realised PS revealed his role anyway. I still would have told everyone my role, as it still would have been a benefit. I really need to read the whole thread before posting. My excuse is that i just woke up.

OK, this is what I wanted to have happen.

My "investigator" claim was a bluff. It was designed to force PS to get involved in the game. He had been far too cagey up to this point, and I know from experience that he's a far better player than anyone else here including me. That much is entirely obvious from the fact that he saw through my bluff immediately. If he is on the evil team, someone had to put pressure on him or he can singlehandedly win the game.

Just before I reveal my own role, do we have any counter-claims to PS's claim?

Well... on the plus side, the Demon has gone from having no idea who to target, to having several targets at once.

So by my understanding we now have:

1. HanSo7o - dead, hard claimed Librarian
2. JustSuper - hard claimed Monk
3. BerryStraw - not claimed, maybe drunk
4. chyperhondriac - Gunslinger (confirmed)
5. BlueBoar - not claimed
6. AndyP - not claimed
7. pleasantsurprise - hard claimed Empath, maybe drunk
8. FireSilver - not claimed
9. fedyshen - not claimed
10. Euro - dead, not claimed

The evil players are probably amongst those who have not claimed yet... unless evil is being very bold with early claims to gain trust.

I can't whisper AndyP any more, so I'm just going to have to wait for him to post here

Noticing the data FS is posting, so adding my own regarding other options if no further claims are made -

Hard to know what is who, even with the roles being claimed now - but as a Town, we should be in a better place. I'd be wary of making any nominations for anyone without further discussion please too...

I'm of the belief that we have a Drunk. Knowing who is the hardest... if not me, then who?

Example, PS is the Drunk - his info is wrong and those either side of him are null and void in roles of Town. This creates an issue with FS and AndyP. Neither of them have 'now' claimed a role. Firesilver making the bold 'tell' should have made him aware it could appear suspicious for him, even if it is good townplay. Any claims

FS has only whispered Blueboar, on both days... and only that player.
However, the following players have whispered him ; JustSuper, AndyP & PS.

PS has only whispered Firesilver on day one.
AndyP whsipered to him on day 2.

I'm of the feeling there is something amongst these. A Demon wouldn't want to reveal too many whispers and would encourage others to message him, if he knew their roles. FS has done this.. I cannot recall exactly who with, maybe AndyP, but the point being the Demon wants to remain hidden and IF in plain sight, even better.

Euro has whispered no-one.
Only two alive have messaged Euro, one being the gunslinger, the other Berrystraw. The other was me.

The reason I'm not claiming yet is because of something I heard in a whisper. I'm waiting to hear from Andy about recent developments. Then I'm going to claim my role.

I'm working again tonight (sigh). If Andy posts before 5pm, I'll reveal before work. If not I'll reveal tonight.

Euro is making a sensible play by not claiming, actually. The minion doesn't know which 3 roles are "safe" to claim like the demon does. If the minion is forced to claim, and they claim Euro's role, we've got them.

This means claiming later is more suspicious as there will be fewer people left to counter-claim. I'm happy to risk looking suspicious by claiming later, because I think what Andy has to say might be more important.

I just want to add that if the alive players don't all claim roles now, this is going to come crashing down around us. The Demon will know exactly who to pick off, in what order, and we'll be on a timer with our powerful roles dead.

It is very telling that TG has closed whispers. He knows that when the town starts to work together, they have the advantage. Distrust works to the evil side.

Come on, Andy, I really need to hear from you... the thing you implied in your Day 1 whisper will make or break how the rest of this game goes...

Sorry, but I don't see how JustSuper's claim to be he Monk can possibly be true.

That was my 'Oops' comment after he claimed.

I tried to lie about who i protected, because i may protect the same person again and i dont want the demon knowing.

I said this because i am quite frankly getting appalled by my own performance this game...i think there is something wrong with me

Wow...I've just read all the posts. I think it's on me to reveal my role then.
I've never played this before so don't know if this is a good idea or not.

I'm the investigator so got an idea of who the minion might be.

Oh yes, you're right. See, this is why I was scared of PS, you cannot sneak anything past him when he's good and it's incredibly hard to pin him down when he's evil. I'm very distracted today by real-life stuff, but I should have caught that. Makes me looks suspicious for not spotting it now. Great.

I thought I was being pretty smart this game, but honestly all I'm realising is that I'm playing almost as bad as Super is.

Ohhhh. Yeah, I've played this terribly. I thought you were hinting at Empath to me in your whisper yesterday. I thought PS had done the same to me and that one of you had to be lying.

I think I'm going to leave the rest to the experts (that is, PS). I'm the fortune teller, and the only player I trusted and have shared my role with may be evil

I got a Not Demon result on pleasantsurprise and BlueBoar on Night 1 and a Demon result on BerryStraw and JustSuper on Night 2.

Please can someone else (preferably PS) piece all this information together for now. I have to get ready for work.

You could have chosen anyone still alive. Anyone but yourself.

I'm stood in the shower, trying to cool down before going to work, and just feeling worse because I know that if someone else had played the game the way I have, I'd be immensely suspicious of them.

PS has a good result on me, but there's a 50-50 chance PS is drunk, so his information could be bad and it would be just like TG to sow doubt between two of the powerful town roles.

BlueBoar looks like the minion and I look like the demon- and to make matter worse, I whispered to him first thing on Day 1, making it look like I was sharing nefarious plans with him.

If I had just stayed quiet and played a safe fortune teller game, I could have probably got a third reading tonight and narrowed down the possibilities to a point where I could have safely been lynched to confirm my role and then we'd have been able to work it out from there.

Instead I had to be a smartass and play detective.

If you guys want to nominate me tonight, I'll vote in favour. I'm too suspicious now to be allowed to live to the end of the game. I'm going away on Monday to Wednesday anyway so the game would probably be better off without me in it.

I've been whispering to TG all game about my thoughts and strategies. He must have been giggling his head off the entire time, knowing that he set me up to do exactly what I've done.
