Sorry guys, i have just been busy recently and didnt even realise we started. It is true i posted in the transfer forum, however i did not pay attention to the home page so i did not see we started. It is quite suspicious that Firesilver jumped the gun and pointed a finger straight at me however...

Also i read the bit about whisper requests but im still confused as to how they work. I thought i would receive a private message if i had one?

I think to catch people in a lie, especially if people are say "I am one of the following 3 characters" like was suggested in the game mechanics. But not sure

I think HanSo7o wanted to come out as the librarian so if there was a virgin they would whisper to him and he could nominate the virgin. This makes me think maybe there is no Virgin (or its JustSuper)

Sorry lads, it's been a really tough day (in real life, here it's just pleasant shenanigans) and I couldn't get involved more/earlier. I scanned through all the new posts as I should get some sleep soon, too.

But, as nominations have opened, I feel I should just say what I have to say.

JustSuper pleading he didn't know the game had started, but starting to post here as soon as he's mentioned as a potential nominee is pretty suspicious to me. I'll raise my hand if he's nominated.

Also, I've had a whisper with Euro, as you all know. As I told him during our conversation, I noticed that he kept his cards very close to his chest. He was questioning why I would whisper him in this early stage of the game and although he answered my questions, he didn't come across as helpful or trustworthy at all to me. I know this proves nothing, and if proven wrong HanSo7o and I aren't looking good, but I'm going to head over to the nominations/voting thread and raise my hand on Euro right now.

My guess would be that TG made you the drunk, but that's not based on in-game reasoning

Hopefully we can figure it out somehow, though, but for now I think it's best to doubt the roles we have been given a bit.

I can see why you would call Euro into question. However, being evasive isn't necessarily suspicious if he is suspicious of you &/or your intentions. He is protecting his right to play the game how he wishes & seems to be alone in that fact, although I think pleasantsurprise also called it into question.

Before we all start jumping on Euro because of what you say, maybe we should first ask ourselves, why would someone evil come onto the forum and make a song and dance about the whispers thus drawing attention upon themselves? True, complaining about the whispers could just be buying time, so he doesn't have to reveal too much, but from my perspective, evil wouldn't make a big fuss with everything they know and the tools at their disposal.

Last post for now, as this has grabbed my attention. I might have missed something, but I didn't find the sharing of information Andy seems to be promoting here.

As I said, I know it doesn't prove anything. And I'm not suggesting everyone should jump on him right now. All I'm saying is that to me, Euro has been more of a disturbance than a helpful, cooperating town player until now.

At this point, my thought is that we just have to start somewhere, somehow and see what we can derive from there. With the little information we have, of which none has been proven, it's more about profiling than logic.

So maybe this was the last post for today. I'll search it on YouTube...

Ah, JustSuper, there you are! It's good to hear from you. I have been thinking about it, and although many roles will receive a PM from TG that would prompt them to look at the thread, some roles probably didn't get a PM at all, so that gives you some level of excuse. That being said, I saw the community home page at the moment you posted your transfer posts. It shows 4 most recent forum posts prominently there, and all 4 were in this thread. I find it quite hard to believe that you didn't see it, and it is, as others have mentioned, convenient that you only show up at nomination time.

I personally will give you a pass on it for now. I'm not going to nominate you. But you do need to step up now and help the town, please. Check the forum regularly and contribute your thoughts. If you disappear for a long period of time again without warning us in advance, that will show consistent lack of willingness to engage, and then I will be less reticent about nominating you.

It's very interesting that HanSo7o and BerryStraw are voting together on Euro and for what I personally think is a pretty flimsy reason. The sense that they are a pair is growing stronger all the time. I have further thoughts on this, but I think I'm going to wait for the results of the next night before I dig further into their relationship. (It is SO awesome that I don't need to worry about being killed tonight and no longer being allowed to ask questions or contribute, something that's always been in the back of my mind in previous mafia games.)

I personally feel like I have been more evasive than Euro has. I haven't shared my information fully with anyone, either here or in whispers, despite pushing hard for others to do so. I'm somewhat surprised that I've not come under scrutiny yet for what is honestly a pretty hypocritical stance. I think the only person that's actually attacked me properly is myself...

Oh yes, we also have our first piece of absolutely concrete information from this voting round. We know that either HanSo7o is evil, or that Euro is not the Virgin. Han wasn't executed immediately for nominating him.

Euro, if you ARE the virgin, now is the time to claim it- we'd have a guaranteed evil team member kill. Either you'd be lying about it or Han would be evil if you make that claim.

I don't think we do have a virgin, because of how a virgin would probably want to play the game, but if we do have one and you ever get nominated, then definitely speak up!

Did you receive any information on Night 1 other than your role? You don't have to share it, I'm just interested to narrow down your potential list of roles.

I would have said everyone would have a PM when the game started.
Knowing whether Town or not means you can't play one or the other side without that info. So I question this, and doubt JustSuper too.

I also question you too FS, as you delve into knowing others, ie comments on whether Euro is a Virginia etc but let JustSuper slide for now. Surely this deserves attention in how he joined as the Noms open?

My link to BS, and how he votes are not related if I'm wrong nominating Euro. In fact, casting these links and discovering later that you're playing an excellent demon role lol, will haunt you...

No-one has challenged my role. No-one has said they are my role either. I make the claim and stand by it. Pretty bold if I wasn't, wouldn't many agree?

1) No, but from that point you could have tried to read up on everything and share your thoughts on it all. Instead of just reacting defensively.
2) I'm not completely sure, but I think I played a mafia game on here 3 times before, as well as a real life variant once. All a long time ago. But I do enjoy games that involve some discussion in general, such as Diplomacy and others.
